This website would not be what it is without the support , encouragment and friendship of EDDIE. The undisputed "sparkplug" and "storyteller" of the band. Without him, it never was, and never could truly be, "THE RASCALS". His wit, humor, stage presence, lyrics and amazing vocals are just some of the reasons why. Onstage he was their spokesman and chief communicator. His personality, soul and personal spirit are generic to the very philosophy the entire band stood for. His post-Rascals songwriting has been prolifc , if not very public. He released an LP in 1976 with brother David as "BRIGATI" ("Lost In The Wilderness"), later teaming as guest vocalists on countless live and studio projects (Bette Midler, Lulu, Danny O'Keefe) including Felix Cavaliere's 1979 solo LP "Castles In The Air" which featured he and Eddie's only published post-Rascals songwriting collaberation ("Love Is The First Day of Spring"). He and David have made numerous live appearances together throughout the years, and Eddie has an enormous musical reservoir of songs and demos we will someday hopefully be privileged to hear. - JOE RUSSO

I loved when Eddie and Felix would sing together. Songs like If you knew, Temptations bout to get me and real thing are a few examples. A great writer. He was sorely missed when he stopped writing. His solo vocals were great. Obviously How can I be sure. But how about Carry me back, Island of love, and A place in the sun. Fantastic.
